of Headmaster

To apply for the position of Head of School, please provide:

  1. A resume that includes at least name, address, phone number, e-mail address, church affiliation, educational background, and professional experience.
     
  2. Information regarding four references from whom we may solicit recommendations. Please provide names, addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, and identify the nature of the relationship you have with these individuals.
     
  3. Written responses to the questions below:
    • Please comment on your walk of faith with Jesus Christ and describe how that relationship shapes who you are.
    • Please describe your church involvement during the past ten years.
    • Briefly (one page) state your philosophy of education.
    • Comment on your style of leadership.
    • Describe your experience interacting with boards.
    • What has been your experience with using the Policy Governance® system of leadership?
    • Describe your experience interacting with faculty, students, and families of students.
    • Why do you feel that you have the gifts and capacity to lead a growing Christian school?
    • What has been your experience with raising funds for a Christian school or other Christian organization?
    • Of the trends in education in the past ten years, which has had the most impact upon you and why?
    • How have you attempted to remain current professionally?
    • Comment on a time when you failed, and how you responded.
    • What impact do you want to make on this next generation?
