When word of Jimmy Phillips’s retirement spread among the student body at Prince Avenue Christian School, the main sentiment was disappointment that such a special teacher would no longer be at Prince. Many alumni attribute the instruction in Mr. Phillips’s class as a mainstay of their preparation for college.
Prince Avenue Christian School will hold the Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2018 on Saturday, May 19th at 10:00 am in the Prince Avenue Baptist Church Worship Center. Dr. J. Josh Smith, senior pastor of Prince Avenue Baptist Church, will give the charge to graduates.

Prince Avenue Christian School Alumnus Forde Norris, Class of 2017, attended Marion Military Institute this past year where he was sponsored by the West Point Association of Graduates. Forde received nominations from Congressman Jody Hice and Senator Johnny Isakson. He graduated from the Service Academy Program at MMI and has signed to be in the United States

The Prince Avenue Girls Soccer Team made history when they won the 1st round of the GHSA Class A Private State Soccer Tournament advancing to the Sweet Sixteen. The Wolverines defeated the Landmark Christian War Eagles 5-2 with goals scored by Madison Britt (3) and Megan Garth (2). The girls will travel to Savannah, Georgia to play the #1 seed,
