Lady Wolverines Finish Third at State Tournament

Elite Eight State Softball Tournament Update   Game 5:  Providence Christian defeated Prince Avene 6-0 in game 5 of the state tournament.  The Lady Wolverines finished their impressive season third in the state, in their fourth year of varsity play. State Champion Softball Coach Named Wolverine Assistant

Joining the Wolverine Softball staff as assistant coach is 2009 Southern-Crescent Coach of the Year Lacy McClendon.  McClendon, who will assist Wolverine Head Coach Theresa Bettis, was head varsity softball coach last year at state Class A champion Eagles Landing Christian Academy in McDonough, Georgia.  From 2004-2008 she served as Head Coach for Henry County Middle School, winning the MMSAL championship
