Lady Wolverines Finish Third at State Tournament

Elite Eight State Softball Tournament Update

Game 5: Providence Christian defeated Prince Avene 6-0 in game 5 of the state tournament. The Lady Wolverines finished their impressive season third in the state, in their fourth year of varsity play.

Game 4: Victory for the Lady Wolverines, 8-3. They will play Providence Christian at 9:00 am Saturday morning.

Game 3: The Lady Wolverine defeated Savannah Christian by a score of 3-0, and now head to a semi-final game against Bryan County at 5:00 pm at the Columbus Softball Complex.

Game 2: Gordon-Lee High School defeated the Lady Wolverines in the second game of the Elite Eight, winning 11-0 in five innings. The girls will play at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.

Game 1: The Lady Wolverines softball team defeated Johnson County 5-2 in the first game of the Elite Eight tournament Thursday. They will play top-ranked Gordon Lee at 5:30 pm.
