Job Title: School Security Manager
Supervisor: Assistant Head of School
Scope of Work: Five days per week, 10 Month Position
Summary
The School Security Manager provides personal, building, and equipment security for faculty, staff, students, and visitors on campus. In addition, the School Security Manager is responsible for managing the school’s safety program including training of all school personnel on safety procedures and coordinating with external law enforcement agencies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Patrol school buildings, grounds, and parking lots to provide personal, building, and equipment security
- Detect, investigate and report unauthorized or suspicious persons, vehicles, or activities
- Remain alert to emergency situations and provide first-line response, emergency management, and/or referral as required
- Conduct lockdown drills, fire drills, weather drills, and emergency building evacuations and submit required reports to external agencies
- Lead and train the school’s emergency response team including twice a year live fire training and small arms weapons management
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the school’s Crisis Management Plan
- Manage the campus’ CENTEGIX Crisis Alert and Visitor Management Systems
- Responsible for the distribution and custodial control management of hard keys
- Responsible for the distribution and custodial control management of FOBs for the campus access control program and coordinate with the campus director of technology to manage door access
- Responsible for the distribution and custodial control of all radios, instruct all employees on proper radio use procedures, and coordinate with the director of technology for radio configuration management
- Maintain technical proficiency with the school’s video surveillance system and provide school administrators with segments of recorded imagery upon request
- Responsible for morning and afternoon carlines and maintaining an orderly flow of traffic on campus
- Responsible for conducting all employee and volunteer background checks and drug screenings during the school year (Human Resources will conduct all summer break screenings)
- Responsible for coordinating required safety inspections
- Coordinate with the Oconee County Sheriff’s department to provide law enforcement officers for morning and afternoon carline, athletic events, and other special events as directed
- Maintain liaison with law enforcement, fire, and other municipal departments to ensure maximum use of their services in order to provide adequate security and safety
- Review and update all Classroom Safety Guides
- Coordinate with the school nurse to assist in providing CPR training and the inventory and refresh of trauma/stop the bleed kits
- Provide security at all “Back to School Events” and high school graduation as part of official duties
- Provide security at after school hours events for additional hourly compensation as schedule permits
Qualifications:
- A committed Christian who is active in an evangelical Church ministry
- High school diploma with at least one year of experience or training in a security related field
- Knowledge of, and the ability to apply, standard security procedures and best practices
- Ability to successfully conduct security patrols without direct supervision

Overview:
The primary function of this position is to teach English (specific content area may be determined by the teacher’s experience) and to foster students’ enthusiasm for language arts.

Overview:
In the absence of the classroom teacher, the substitute teacher provides instruction, encourages students’ progress, and manages the learning environment to assist the instructional staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work with the sub-coordinator and academic dean to:
- Implement existing lesson plans in a manner that ensures consistency and encourages student participation
- Maintain a well-managed classroom that fosters a safe and positive teaching and learning environment

- Take attendance and document daily notes

Job Title: School Store Associate – Part Time
Direct Supervision: School Store Manager or Director of Marketing and Communications
Summary:
The school store associate is responsible for assisting the school store manager in the daily functioning of the Wolverine General Store. The school store associate will embody customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for students, parents, and staff members who shop at the Wolverine General Store.
Scope of Work:
- Part-time: 15 – 19 hours a week
- Dates and times will be determined with the school store manager
Specific Duties:
- Providing excellent customer service to families and community members who shop at the school store
- Provide uniform guidance to students and families
- Handle cash register transactions
- Restock and merchandise inventory as needed
- Tag, store, and organize merchandise

Job Title: Bus Driver Daily Route AM and PM / Athletic Events / Field Trips

SUMMARY
The primary focus of this position is to drive a daily bus route, both before school and after school to pick up students at pre-determined locations and then to return them to the same locations after
school, approximately 180 days per school year.
Prince Avenue Christian School (PACS) is a ministry of Prince Avenue Baptist Church (PABC), and the faculty and staff’s conduct reflects on the church and school. Therefore, this employee agrees to conduct herself or himself in a Godly manner at all times and be under the authority of the school
administration and PABC and to abide by the policies and statement of faith thereof.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Demonstrate positive attitude toward work assignment
• Drive school bus in a safe and legal manner
• Perform daily safety checks on bus
• Report bus riders’ names each trip
• Maintain orderly conduct on bus at all times

IDENTIFICATION:
Job Title: After School Program Counselor
Direct Supervision: Lower School Principal or Head of School
Scope of Work: Coincides with School Calendar
SUMMARY:
An After School Program counselor is responsible for assisting the program Director as deemed necessary and appropriate in supervising and interacting with students attending the program on any given day.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The hours of operation of the program are 2:45-6:00 on normal release school days and 11:15-6:00 on early release school days. Counselors are expected to arrive no less than 15 minutes before the start time each day that they work, unless given permission to arrive later by the Director.
- Assist the Director in setting up the area(s) to be used prior to the students arriving for the program. Verify that all resources needed for the program have been reserved through the campus-wide calendaring program.
- Promote a safe and healthy environment for program participants.
- Assist as requested with the cleaning and/or disinfecting of supplies, equipment and high touch surface areas each day.
- Participate equitably in managing the “closing shift” of the program schedule on a rotational basis as scheduled by the Director. (Closing shift is 5:30-6:00 PM.)
- When serving on the closing shift, verify that all equipment and supplies have been properly stored, floors have been swept if needed, lights have been turned off, and doors have been locked.
- Assist as instructed in maintaining accurate and organized attendance records.
- Report and document immediately any and all student injuries or incidents to the program Director or acting Director.
- Document accident or injury events to which you were the closest witnessing supervisor by promptly completing and submitting an official Student Accident Report (found in the Program Operations Manual).
- Ensure that parents are notified as soon as is feasible of any accidents or injuries a child sustains.
- Maintain superior communication with parents and other school staff.
