Lady Wolverines Softball Update
Final Update: The Lady Wolverines defeated First Presbyterian 1-0 to advance to the championship game. However, they lost to Eagles Landing Christian 1-3 to finish as the state runner-up. Congratulations on a great season!
Update November 2: The Lady Wolverines lost 5-4 to Eagles Landing Christian in a tie-breaker extra innning game last night. At 11:00 am today they will play the winner of the First Presbyterian-Savannah Christian game, and then will need to defeat Eagles Landing two times this afternoon to win the double elimination championship. Updates will be posted on Twitter (@pacswolverines) and Facebook.
Update: November 1 – The Lady Wolverines game vs Eagles Landing was postponed until 10:00 pm tonight because of bad weather in the Columbus area.

The Lady Wolverine softball team will return to Columbus next week following an 8-2 victory over the Mt. Pisgah Patriots Thursday afternoon. They advance to the Elite Eight in the GHSA Calss A-Private championship tournament this year, hoping to bring home the championship trophy after finishing second last year.
In the first round of the state tournament, Prince Avenue defeated Mt. Pisgah 8-0 in five innings, but lost the second game 2-3 Wednesday afternoon. The team returned to the field Thursday afternoon, focused and determined to advance to the second round in Columbus.
The Lady Wolverines will play George Walton Academy on Thursday, October 31, at 10:30 am in the double elimination tournament.
