Athletes Honored at Prince Avenue Christian School

Four Prince Avenue Christian School senior athletes were honored during chapel services as they prepare to compete at the college level next year.

A two-time GHSA Class A state champion in both the shot put and discus, Anna Machovec has signed to compete for the University of Georgia on the track and field team.  

Bethany Campbell, a four-year starter for the Lady Wolverine softball team, has signed to play for Emmanuel College.

Football players Christian Payne and Alexander Stier were both offered several opportunities to play at the university level on scholarship, but decided they wanted to play for Southeastern Conference teams, and will be preferred walk-ons at the University of Georgia (Payne) and the University of Alabama (Stier).
