Walker Boswell Named PACS Rotary Student of the Semester
Senior Walker Boswell was named Prince Avenue Christian School's Rotary Student of the Semester selected by teachers for his demonstration of the Rotary Club motto of “Service Above Self.”
Walker, the son of Ben and Laura Boswell, chose Bible teacher Billy Meeks to share the honor with him at a Rotary Club breakfast. Walker says he chose Coach Meeks as his teacher because Coach Meeks has been a great Christ-like influence for him both inside and outside of class.
During his years at PACS, Walker has been a member of the National Honor Society, the Beta Club, and the Wolverine Football Team. He attends Athens Church and is involved in the youth group there. Walker has also been an active participant in the charity “Wood for Warriors” in which he helps collect, chop, and sell firewood to raise money for wounded veterans.
Walker plans to attend the University of North Georgia and major in History.
