Meghan Hudson Receives Above and Beyond Award
Prince Avenue Christian School Visual Arts teacher Meghan Hudson recently received the Above and Beyond Award. This award recognizes teachers and staff members through a nomination and evaluation process conducted by members of the school’s Administrative Leadership Team. This individual is considered based on attitude and commitment, work performance, interpersonal skills, and personal traits.
Mrs. Hudson has taught at Prince for eight years. In addition to heading up the high school Visual Arts program, she coaches Middle School Softball and sponsors both the Interact Club and the National Art Honors Society. Both of these clubs involve multiple service projects including the Big Thank You campaign to encourage soldiers overseas during the holidays and Empty Bowls to support a local homeless shelter.
Mrs. Hudson expresses her love for teaching at Prince both for her students and her two daughters who are students in the lower school. “I have chosen to teach at Prince because I love investing in my students with the hope of having a positive impact on their lives, and I love that my own children can look up to our older students and see them grow in their relationship with Christ.”
