Five Prince Avenue Fine Arts students received special honors at the Georgia Thespian Conference. Senior Abby Frost, juniors Riley Wilson, Thompson Sewell, and Jack Johnston all received overall superior scores on their individual events. Thompson and Jack also performed the duet “Devil Take the Hindmost” from the musical Love Never Dies in the closing ceremony for an audience of 3,000 students and chaperones while Abby was recognized for her set design of Seussical the Musical.
In addition, senior Deven Desai was recognized at the closing ceremony for receiving the Frank Pruet and Eric Ebell Vision and Innovation Scholarship for Leadership. This $2,000 scholarship is awarded to a Thespian who best demonstrates, through resume and interview, outstanding leadership, innovation, and vision.
