Prince Fine Arts Places 2nd in Region One-Act Play Competition
The Prince Avenue Christian School Fine Arts Department made school history this weekend when they placed 2nd in Region at the Area 4 A Private One Act Play Competition with their performance of Freaky Friday. The cast and crew will advance to the Class A Private State One-Act Play Competition to be held on November 9th in Warner Robins. Competing at state competition is a first for PACS Fine Arts.
In addition to placing 2nd, Prince students received the following awards: Best Actress- senior Riley Wilson, Best Supporting Actor- senior Thompson Sewell, All-Star Cast- senior Emilie David and freshman David Simpkins, and Best Ensemble.
Region competition was held at Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville. Participating schools were Lakeview Academy, Athens Academy, Athens Christian School, George Walton Academy, and Tallulah Falls School. The three judges adjudicated each play on technical, dramatic, and musical elements.
