Nunn and Culpepper Honored by Daughters of the American Revolution
Two Prince Avenue Christian School students were recently honored at the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Apalachee Chapter Awards Luncheon.
Sophomore Georgia Nunn was selected as the winner of the DAR Christopher Columbus Essay Contest. Georgia’s winning essay was titled, “A Sailor’s Experiences as Part of Christopher Columbus’s First Expedition to the Americas”. She was honored as the PACS school winner and the DAR Apalachee Chapter Winner.
Also honored at the luncheon was PACS senior Hamilton Culpepper. Hamilton was nominated by PACS teachers to receive the “Good Citizen Award” in response to his outstanding character and commitment to citizenship both within Prince Avenue as well as in the community.
