Prince Students Attend GISA Day at State Capitol
Members of the Prince Avenue High School Student Government recently spent the day at the Georgia State Capitol for GISA Day (Georgia Independent Schools Association). Students had many wonderful opportunities during their time there. They observed a session of the House of Representatives, had a photo meet and greet with their local congressman, Marcus Weidower, and enjoyed a luncheon in which they heard from a number of congressmen about bills and laws that impact them directly. During lunch, Prince students were also able to network with other students that attend independent schools around the state of Georgia. Another highlight of the day was gathering for a picture with Governor Brian Kemp and Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan.
