Three Prince Avenue senior football players recently signed to play football at the college level.
Defensive lineman B.J. Green signed to play with Arizona State University. Head Coach Greg Vandagriff expresses gratitude for B.J.’s contributions to the team. “We benefitted immensely when B.J. chose to come to Prince Avenue as an early season transfer. He destroys opposing offensive tackles and takes no prisoners on his way to the quarterback. We want to wish him the best as he takes his talents out west to the Sun Devils.”
Wide receiver Logan Johnson signed as a preferred walk-on with the University of Georgia. Coach Vandagriff says that Logan is a tireless worker that constantly pushes himself to produce at a high level. “Logan is going to leave Prince Avenue with many records in tow. We want to wish him the best of luck at UGA and hope that he continues to reach for the stars.”
Linebacker Davis Ridings signed to play with Western Carolina University. Coach Vandagriff describes Davis as one of the best linebackers to ever represent Prince Avenue on the field. “It has been a pleasure to get to coach Davis. He will be dearly missed next year. The Prince football family wants to wish him the best of luck at Western Carolina.”
