Prince Cast Members Win Best Performances in Region One-Act Competition
The Prince Avenue Fine Arts Department placed second in Region One Act Competition with their performance of Singin’ in the Rain.
Members of the cast also received individual recognition. Junior Cooper Capps won Best Actor for his role as Cosmo Brown, and sophomore Natalie Schroeder won Best Supporting Actress for her role as Lina Lamont. Junior Jay Lavender and sophomore Tiger Stephens were selected for All-Star Cast. Junior Kaylor Jones was the show’s choreographer and was selected Best Dancer. In addition, the show received Outstanding Choreography.
Congratulations to the cast and crew of this wonderful performance of a classic comedy musical. Audiences can look forward to the Prince lower school musical God Squad to be performed on Tuesday, November 9th, and the middle school performance of Shrek, Jr. in January 2022.
