Prince Spring Athletic Updates
Prince Avenue Christian School was recently ranked on a list published by USA Today as number nine of the top 25 schools in Georgia for high school athletes.

Prince spring varsity sports have had busy and successful seasons with some teams still competing at the state level. Congratulations to these teams and athletes. It’s a Great Day to Be a Wolverine!
Prince Varsity Golf
The Prince girls and boys golf teams both claimed Area 1 Private titles for the 2025 season.
This is the third consecutive area title for Prince Girls Golf. Players were senior Claire Bradford, junior Millie Benton, and freshmen Henslee Whitworth and Tatum Strickland. Claire Bradford shot a 72 and was named Girls Area Low Medalist.
This is the seventh consecutive area title for Prince Boys Golf. Players were freshman Collin Bradford, sophomores Braden Smith and Chip Dickens, junior William Henderson, and senior Josiah Eterno.
Both teams will compete in state on May 19th-20th at Twin City Country Club in Tennile, Georgia. Go Wolverines!
Prince Varsity Baseball
With a regular season record of 25-4 , and a region record of 13-2, the Prince varsity baseball team defeated Stephens County to win Region 8AA Championship. This marks the fourth consecutive year that the Wolverines have been region champions. In addition, senior Judson Hartwell broke the GHSA record for career doubles.
Prince Varsity Tennis
The Prince girls tennis team earned their third consecutive region championship with a Region 8AA tournament win over Stephens County. The boys tennis team placed second in Region 8AA behind a tough Hebron team. Both girls and boys teams went on to compete in the Sweet Sixteen of the state tournament. In addition, senior Julia Purvis was named Girls Region Player of the Year, and sophomore Evan Hannon was named Boys Region Player of the Year.
Prince Varsity Track and Field
Prince Track and Field had a great showing at the A-3A Private Sectional B held on Saturday, May 1st with several Prince competitors qualifying for the state championship meet.
Field event qualifiers include:
- Ben Musser – long jump
- CJ Dockery – triple jump
- Ally Eggers – triple jump
- Ayn Usry – triple jump
- Taylor Lord – high jump
- Maddie Capps – high jump
Track Events Qualifiers include:
- Luke Darling – 100, 200
- Tison McGuirt – 800
- Boys 4×2 and 4×4: Ben Musser, CJ Dockery, Luke Darling, Andrew Beard
- Girls 4×1 and 4×4: Maggie Ross, Brenna Smith, Emma Kate Abbott, Maddie Capps
The state championship meet will be held on May 8th-9th in Carrollton, Georgia.
Prince Varsity Bass Fishing
The Prince Avenue Christian School varsity bass fishing team had three teams that qualified to compete in the GHSA Bass Fishing State Tournament that was held at Lake Lanier on Saturday, May 3rd. The three teams were freshman Jackson Berry and junior Conner Mitchell, sophomores Luke Milner and Drew Williams, and seniors Porter Barnett and Sage Milner.
Porter Barnett and Sage Milner placed 6th in state out of 108 teams and qualified to compete in nationals that will be held in Grove, Oklahoma June 24th – 28th. Congratulations!
