Prince Science Teacher Receives Grant for Special Project

Prince Avenue Christian School lower school science teacher, Jerry Taylor, was recently awarded the $500.00 grant Cultivate and Educate Ag by the Georgia Farm Bureau whose mission statement is to promote leadership and provide assistance in the agricultural sector, encouraging increased agricultural literacy for people of all ages. The grant was presented by Georgia Farm Bureau representative Katy Seagraves.

Mr. Taylor is excited to use this grant and purchase a chick brooder set, egg incubator, chick life cycle exploration kit and hatching eggs for students to incubate and hatch. This is a wonderful opportunity for Prince lower school students to further engage in the science of new life and growth.
