Campbell Selected as Rotary Student of the Semester
Prince senior Aidan Campbell was selected as the Rotary Student of the Semester for Fall 2025. He was chosen by Prince teachers for his outstanding demonstration of the Rotary Club motto, “Service Above Self.”
Aidan serves the school community in numerous leadership roles. He is the senior class president, president of the National Honor Society, and president of Beta Club. He is also a member of the National Art Honor Society, a Barnabas mentor, and a LEGO camp counselor. Outside of school, Aidan attends Athens Church, where he leads a small group of eighth-grade boys.
As part of this honor, Aidan selected high school science teacher Mrs. Carrie Owens as his teacher representative. Aidan shared, “Mrs. Owens has exemplified servant leadership in my life inside and outside of the classroom, leading not with pride, but with authenticity. She has taught me that leadership is not about being the most confident person in the room but being willing to selflessly serve others even when it is difficult—just as Christ did.”
Mrs. Owens says it has been an honor to teach Aidan. “Aidan has an impressive academic résumé and expresses a true passion and love of learning which will serve him well in the future. However, what stands out most about Aidan is his integrity and strength of character. He is a thoughtful and intentional young man who cares about others and leads the student body with humility and enthusiasm.”
Aidan plans to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering at Georgia Tech and hopes to one day work in the space industry.
