Saxon and Simmons Sign to Play College Athletics

Prince Avenue Christian School held a signing ceremony for seniors Taylor Saxon and Kylee Simmons to play athletics at the college level.

Taylor Saxon signed to play softball at Brenau University.  Head Coach Donnie Byrom describes Taylor as a truly special young lady and a great teammate.  “A tenacious hitter with elite power, Taylor made softball fun and along the way has been recognized for her excellence as an All-State and All-Region player.”

Kylee Simmons signed to play softball at the University of South Carolina Upstate.  Coach Byrom says that Kylee is one of the best players in the history of Prince softball.  “Kylee has lifted this program to great heights. From being a Prince student since kindergarten and a young softball camper to now, Kylee has been recognized as Region Pitcher of the Year and Player of the Year and has been a yearly GACA All-State and All-Star participant. We are proud of all that Kylee has accomplished as a Wolverine.”
