Callaway Honored with 2025-2026 Prince Yearbook Dedication
The 2025-2026 Prince Avenue Christian School yearbook staff recently presented the 43rd edition of the Koinonia to the Prince student body. This year’s yearbook was dedicated to retiring lower school principal Becky Callaway.
Mrs. Callaway has devoted 43 years to the field of education, faithfully serving students and families across Green County, Oconee County, and independent Christian schools. For the past 12 years, she has been a cherished member of the Prince community. Her contributions, especially to the growth and strengthening of Prince lower school programs, have been truly exceptional.
Mrs. Callaway is a University of Georgia Double Dawg with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education. She spent 18 years as a classroom teacher before serving the rest of her years in education as an administrator for independent Christian Schools. Mrs. Callaway is married to Sandy, and they have three children and 12 grandchildren.
Head of School Col. Seth Hathaway describes Mrs. Callaway’s faith as foundational to the Prince lower school culture. “Mrs. Callaway’s personal walk with Christ has served as a bedrock of the lower school, shaping not only academic excellence but also the moral and spiritual formation of Prince students.”
The theme of this year’s yearbook is “On the Horizon”, which focuses on the new experiences yet to come while highlighting the journey to reach those goals and serving as a reminder to trust God with each step of the way.
