Dixon Named National Merit Commended Student

Prince Avenue Christian School senior Riordan Dixon has been named a Commended Student in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program, recognizing his outstanding performance on the 2025 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).

Each year, approximately 50,000 students nationwide earn top scores on the PSAT/NMSQT and receive recognition through the National Merit Scholarship Program. Of those students, more than two-thirds are named Commended Students in recognition of their strong academic potential and the important role their schools play in supporting academic achievement.

While Commended Students do not advance to the next stage of the competition for National Merit Scholarships, this distinction recognizes their academic achievement and may provide opportunities to be considered for other scholarships.

Riordan is the son of Kelly and Kelly Dixon.
