Lady Wolverines Advance to Elite Eight in State Playoffs

For the first time since Prince Avenue Christian School joined the GHSA Class-A Private classification, a PACS varsity basketball team has advanced to the Elite Eight in the 3rd Round of State Playoffs.

The Lady Wolverines made history when they won 47-32 over First Presbyterian Day  in the second round of the state tournament.  The Lady Wolverines are now 21-7 for the season.

Ansley Hall led the Lady Wolverines to victory with 28 points while Madison Britt contributed 8 ,  Janie Henderson 4, Caroline Hill 3, Baylee Rogers 2, and Millican Jarrett  and Hays Simmons each added 1.

PACS Athletic Director and Head Coach Richard Ricketts is very proud of his team and the progress they have made this season. " These girls just keep working and getting better.  Seeing a group come together like they have is so rewarding.  I am very happy for them."

The Lady Wolverines will travel to Peachtree Corners on Tuesday, February 28th to compete against Wesleyan School at 5:30 pm.  Wolverine fans are encouraged to attend to support the team and cheer them on to the next level of competition.
