Students Compete in Literary Meet
Update: Sam Kennon placed second in the state Literary Meet in Extemporaneous Speaking. Ward Evans place fourth overall in the essay competition.
Prince Avenue Christian High School students competed in the GHSA Literary Meet at Rabun Gap on Tuesday, February 26. Sam Kennon placed second in the region in Extemporaneous Speaking competition and Ward Evans was second in Essay Writing. Both advance to the state meet.
Also competing were sophomore Madison Pittman in the Extemporaneous Speaking competition, and senior Marian Douglas competed in the Essay Writing contest.
Senior Titus Campbell and sophomore Rachel Steele prepared entries for the Dramatic Interpretation competition. In the Girls Trio, junior Amanda Hill, and sophomores Katelyn Grider and Rachel Adams performed, and juniors Zach Morris, George Alviter, James Wagner and Chris Stiles competed in the Boys Quartet.
