Duke University Recognizes Seventh Grade Students
The Duke University Talent Identification Program (TIP) honored 13 Prince Avenue Christian School 7th grade students, recognizing their academic potential and talent, based on a qualifying score at or above the 95th percentile on standardized achievement testing.
As a Duke TIP nominee, students have the opportunity to take either the SAT or ACT test, designed for college-bound high school students, during their 7th grade year.
This experience allows the students to gain greater insight into their academic abilities. Selection into the talent search also gives these students special access to a wide range of educational experiences and resources offered through the Duke University program.
Duke TIP Honorees include: (front) Carson Kooistra, Sarah Kelley, Madison Britt, Avery Mulford, Megan Jackson; (back) Jared Breedlove, Sted Wilfong, Patrick Brannen,Christopher Harding, Chase Barker, Danny Lee, Logan Thomas, and Daniel Harper.
