PACS Students Excel at Literary Meet
Prince Avenue Christian School students placed second in three categories at the State Literary Meet on Saturday. Rachel Adams was the runner-up in the girl’s solo, and the trio of Adams, Amanda Hill and Katelyn Grider also placed second in that competition. Isaac Power eared the second place award for his essay in the high school boys essay competition.
Prince Avenue Christian School students earned several awards at the Region 8A Literary Meet, held this year on the Prince campus.
Junior Isaac Power placed first in the boy’s essay competition, while Rachel Adams placed first in girls solo. Rachel, along with senior Amanda Hill and junior Katelyn Grider placed second in the girls trio competition. Juniors Clare Looney and Curry Cross placed third in girls essay, and extemporaneous speaking
