Academic Teams Compete
The Prince Avenue Christian High School Academic Teams had a strong showing in the National History Bowl and Bee. The event was held on November 1st at Cedar Shoals High School.
Freshmen Emily Weaver and Jon Varghese and Sophomore Marlan Adams did an outstanding job in the JV competition with a second place finish overall.
The Varsity Academic Team was comprised of Sophomores Chase Deatrick and Matthew Butt and Seniors Cole Hurley and Curry Cross. The varsity team made it to the final four before being defeated by Collins Hill.
In addition to the team performances, Emily Weaver, Marlan Adams, Cole Hurley, and Chase Deatrick all qualified individually in the History Bee. Chase Deatrick finished second in the Bee at the JV level.
These students did an outstanding job and represented PACS well.
