PACS Fine Arts Students Participate in District Honors Chorus
Prince Avenue Middle and High School Fine Arts students recently participated in District Honors Chorus held at Riverside Military Academy. Students from all over the district were nominated to participate in this special event by their chorus teachers and were responsible to prepare all music before the weekend of rehearsals and performance.
Middle school girls that participated were Gracie Ricketts, Chloe Ferguson, Allie Carter, Lauren Rowell, Riley Wilson, Bonnie Kate Collinsworth, Holly Evans, and Maggie Holt. In addition, Riley was selected to sing in an ensemble of one of the songs performed.
High school students that participated in the Intermediate Mixed Choir were Nathan Anderson, Cheyenne Deal, Rebecca Hathaway, Elaine Hinson, Elizabeth Lavender, Mary Grace Palmer, and Isabelle Renn. High school students that participated in the Senior Mixed Choir are Rachel Adams, Will Adams, Joy Harris, Cole Hurley, Sammi Richt, Luke Wallace, and Josh Whalen.
After rehearsals on Saturday morning, Honors Chorus students presented concerts on Saturday afternoon for parents and special guests. PACS students represented their school with excellence and further benefitted PACS Fine Arts as they developed their musical talents.
