PACS Students Pack 20,000 Meals through Helping Hands Fight Hunger
On Friday, February 20th, Prince Avenue Christian School students, Pre-Kindergarten through 12th Grade, worked together to pack 20,000 meals to donate to the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia with the PACS Helping Hands Fight Hunger campaign. Students, faculty, staff, parents, and grandparents worked together to assemble and pack the meals throughout the day. Each grade level prayed over the boxes that they packed asking God to bless those in need and to help the students as they worked. Students learned about the nutritional value of the food packed as well as the skills necessary for cleanliness and safety. At the end of the day, the entire student body assembled together to celebrate meeting their goal and present the meals to John Becker, President and CPO of the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia.
