PACS 10th Annual Spring Gala – Spring Soirée

Prince Avenue Christian School is preparing for Spring Soirée, the 10th Annual Spring Gala, an annual event sponsored by the PACS Office of Development to support the PACS Annual Fund.

Spring Soirée will be Tuesday, March 29 at the Athens Country Club.  The evening will begin with a Flash Silent Auction at 6:00 followed by dinner at 7:00.  The evening entertainment is provided by the PACS Fine Arts Department, and the featured speaker will be our own Head of School, Seth Hathaway.

The Silent Auction event is an exciting part of Spring Soirée.  Supporters of PACS bid on items such as themed baskets, vacation accommodations, original art, and gift items.  Competitors follow their bids throughout the evening and enjoy trying to outbid others that are interested in their items.  The auction is “One Hour Only”, and bidding ends at 7:00 pm sharp. 

Some highlights on this year's auction list include vacation destinations such as San Destin, Florida;  Disney World; and The Master 2017.  For those that are “Built for the Wild” there is a Yeti Softbag, a fishing excursion, His and Her Handguns, and the Ultimate Top Gun Experience.  

Sports fans will want to bid on four University of Miami tickets or the UGA Pub Table autographed by Mark Richt.  Fitness enthusiasts will be excited to bid on a Personal Training with Meg Titshaw, and fashion enthusiasts will want to check out the diamond necklace, diamond earrings, Kate Spade watch, Tory Burch Bracelet, and other chic items.  Home Furnishing items up for bid include wall art medallions, a hand-painted chest, handcrafted pillows, and an antiqued console table. 

Also for auction are some Athens favorites such as a Last Resort Dinner for Six, Urban Sanctuary Facial, and Striplings Surf & Turf for Eight.  Be sure not to miss Aimee Lashley Photography, Hardwick Window Cleaning, and Beauty Treatments by Dr. Ross Campbell and Kristen Thomas. 

And of course Wolverine fans will want to be sure to compete for the coveted Queen of the Carpool, VIP Reserved Football Parking, Golf and Lunch with Coach Jeff Herron, or an Encore Performance Package.  

There are many other exciting items up for auction, and items are added daily as the gala approaches.  Be sure to come prepared to bid high and have fun.

The Spring Soirée is not only a wonderful opportunity to raise money for the PACS Annual Fund, but it is a special time for the PACS community to come together in support and celebration of our wonderful school.
