2016 -2017 PACS Homecoming Representatives
The Prince Avenue Christian School 2016-2017 Homecoming Court has been selected by the high school student body. Representatives are selected based on Christian character with an emphasis on the attributes mentioned by the Apostle Paul in Galatians 5:22-23. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” (ESV) When selecting representatives, students are asked to consider consistent evidence of these spiritual traits as well as considering their classmates’ commitment and enthusiasm for the Prince Avenue community in keeping with the school’s mission statement of “pursuing excellence in academics, fine arts, and athletics from a biblical worldview.”
Grades 9 – 11 select one girl and one boy per grade. The senior class selects five girls and five boys. Mr. and Miss PACS are selected from the senior court by the entire high school and will be announced during Homecoming festivities.
Representing the ninth grade are Allie Carter and Hamilton Culpepper. Sophomore representatives are Lilly Renn and Trace Jeffers, while the juniors elected are Emma Taylor and Matthew Colquitt. Senior representatives include Virginia Beth Butler, Macy Frazier, Palmer Heath, Isabelle Renn, Baylee Rogers, Josh Cartey, Jared Gilstrap, Forde Norris, Chandler Smith, and Sam Todd.
