PACS Parent, Lori Wilfong, Lunch and Learn Speaker

PACS parent Lori Wilfong shared her thoughts about her nursing career to students as part of the school's Lunch and Learn program.  Mrs. Wilfong communicated that nursing is a practical way to be the “hands and feet of Jesus” while serving patients.  She said that nursing takes knowledge, skill, and compassion.  With skill nurses do a variety of medical tasks including inserting IVs, calculating medicines, and inserting tubes, but in all ways nurses have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients.
