PACS Interact Club “The Big Thank You Campaign” Deadline October 19th
The PACS Interact Club has launched this year's “The Big Thank You Campaign” in which students in all grade levels have the opportunity to write letters to US soldiers stationed overseas during the holidays.
PACS students are encouraged to participate in this effort by writing heartfelt handwritten letters to troops who will be away from friends and family during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Last year the Interact Club collected and sent over 500 letters. Some of the soldiers wrote back and expressed their appreciation for the support and encouragement.
The Interact Club would like to collect even more letters this year and have visited lower and middle school classrooms to assist in the effort. Letters must be on standard letter size or smaller paper without glue, tape, staples, cardboard, or glitter. No greeting cards or photographs can be included, but students are free to include mailing and email addresses for correspondence. Letters should not be sealed in envelopes.
The collection box is located in the High School Office. The deadline to turn in letters is this Wednesday, October 19th.
