PACS Lower School Students Recognized for Achievements
Prince Avenue Christian School students were recently recognized during Lower School Chapel for special achievements thus far this school year.
3rd grade students were recognized by their teacher Lavonia Hardman for mastery of multiplication facts with the Mighty Multiplier award. Those students were: William Henderson, Layla Bentley, Kylee Simmons, Micah Rhodes and Bella Rosenthal.
Physical Education students were recognized by Lower School PE Coach Michael Palmer as PE Students of the Semester for their outstanding effort and sportsmanship in PE. Those students
were: Morgan Holt, Colton Cartey, Micah Rhodes, Katie Hall, Landon Purcell, Garrett Holt, Bella Rogers, Caroline Seagraves, Mason Maughon, Addison Bowman, Jack Whalen, and Kylee Simmons.
4th – 5th grade students who scored in the 95th percentile or higher on an accepted subtest of the Terra Nova Achievement Test last spring were recognized for qualifying to participate in the highly selective Duke University Talent Identification Program (Duke TIP). Participation in the 4th-6th Grade Talent Search offers students opportunities such as online activities, a book club, newsletters for students and parents, educational programming, and discounts on independent learning materials.
Fourth Grade students recognized for Duke TIP were: Jaden Hill, Jack Whalen, Addison Bowman, Brody Rogers, Izze Currie, Sydney Barham, James Henderson, Kinsley Bowen, Lilly Purcell, Meredith Hale, Lyndsay McCall, Claire Bradford, Sophia Hou, Gracie Collis, Mason Stitcher, McKinley Dykes, Ruben Calderon, Maggie Ross, Porter Wood, Taylor Thomas, Olivia Taylor, Kevin McKeithan, Collin Hixson, Gray Dillard, Shayla Curtis, and Bennett Bahnsen.
Fifth Grade students recognized for Duke TIP were: Elisabeth Breedlove, Kennedy Brown, Thomas Bruce, Kelsey Cascella, Grayson Casto, Caitlyn Chapman, Cadence Collette, Mimi Culpepper, Beckett Daniel, Davis Eley, Siler Elvington, Michael Fletcher, Isaiah Foster, Brenna Hardin, Cary Hardwick, Will Howard, Jackson Lord, Isabella Machado, Sophia Machado, Kate McLean, Brock McDonald, Raegan Naeher, McKenzie Paul, Levi Smith, Ethan Thomas, Gabbi Timms, Leila Todd, and Aiden Washington.
