Students Selected for Honor Band

Members of the Prince Avenue Christian School Band program have been selected for the Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) First Year and District Jazz Honor Bands this spring.  Both of these groups are comprised of the finest band students from throughout northeast Georgia.

These events will be held at Jefferson High school on Saturday, May 6th.  Students will rehearse under outstanding conductors and perform a concert in the afternoon. 

Those students attending GMEA First Year Honor Band held at Jefferson High School are:   Kelsey Cascella – flute, Raegan Naeher – bass clarinet, Jack Carmean – alto saxophone, Naomi Weidemann – trumpet, Scotty Thompson – horn, Grayson Casto – horn, and Brock McDonald – euphonium.

Those students attending GMEA District Jazz Honor Band are:  Jake Hathaway – alto sax, Jaxon Connerley – baritone sax, and Trent Tredwell – euphonium.
