Kristi Greer Leads Lunch and Learn Banking Presentation
Prince Avenue High School students recently enjoyed the first Lunch and Learn presentation of the 2017-2018 school year. Students enjoyed an interesting and informative session on the topic of Careers in Banking led by Kristi Greer of Oconee State Bank.
Ms. Greer reviewed with students the purpose of a bank and the different services it provides as well as the different positions available in banking. She explained the skills and strengths necessary for a career in banking including money handling, problem solving, customer service, teamwork, and proficiency in technology.
Ultimately, Ms. Greer encouraged students to consider what they really enjoy and seek to make it a career by reviewing a variety of jobs, shadowing positions of interest, and seeking career counseling.
