Eley, Adams, and Morris Nominated as GISA Master Teachers

Three teachers from Prince Avenue Christian School were recently nominated by the PACS administration as Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) 2018 Master Teachers.  Kindergarten teacher Mandy Eley, band director Miles Adams, and Director of Fine Arts LaMurl Morris will all participate in the selection process for this special honor. 

The selection process for Master Teacher is challenging and competitive. To be considered for the program, candidates are required to submit an application as well as a portfolio including three tangible examples of outstanding work related to the classroom and to sharing and collaborating with other educators.  Among other requirements are an unedited video of the candidate's classroom teaching utilizing best practices and five letters of recommendation.

Recipients will be chosen and recognized in the 2018 – 2019 school year.
