Beverly Shivar Shares with Students About Missions in Nicaragua

Former Prince Avenue Christian School front office receptionist Beverly Shivar spent some time this week visiting PACS 3rd graders.  David and Beverly Shivar retired from PACS in 2016 in order to serve as missionaries in Nicaragua.  While in the states for a visit, Mrs. Shivar took the time to visit and share with students about her work in Nicaragua. 

Mrs. Shivar described the culture in Nicaragua, the needs of the local people, and the different ways they minister and share the gospel.  She shared pictures and stories of the area including volcanoes, earthquakes, animals, travel, and food, and students had the opportunity to ask questions. 

The Shivars express their excitement and anticipation of the PACS senior mission trip to help with their work in Nicaragua that will take place in the spring.
