Donnie Byrom Hired as Wolverine Softball Coach

Prince Avenue Christian School has announced Coach Donnie Byrom as the new Wolverine Varsity Softball Coach for the upcoming school year.

Coach Byrom brings many years of experience and success on the softball field. He led East Jackson to the State Championship in 2016. He was the 2016 GACA State Softball Coach of the Year, the 2016 Georgia Dugout State Softball Coach of the Year, and the Athens Banner Herald’s Overall Coach of the Year in 2017.

Prince Athletic Director Richard Ricketts expresses great enthusiasm as Coach Byrom joins the Prince Athletic Department.  “Coach Byrom has proven characteristics that I believe will make him a good fit at PACS. He is a man of faith who will provide Godly leadership to our girls, he has a proven record on the field, and he has coached women’s high school softball for well over twenty years demonstrating the ability to bring out the very best in the girls he coaches.”
