Pictured left to right: Tracy Hathaway, Kendall, Eley, and Elizabeth Sadler
Three teachers from Prince Avenue Christian School were recently selected by the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) as Master Teachers. High school English teachers Tracy Hathaway and Elizabeth Sadler and Academic Dean Kendall Eley were chosen from 160 GISA member schools and 50 applicants.
The selection process for the Master Teacher program is challenging and competitive. To be considered for the program, candidates are required to submit an application as well as a portfolio including three tangible examples of outstanding work related to the classroom and to sharing and collaborating with other educators. Among other requirements is an unedited video of the candidate’s classroom teaching utilizing best practices and five letters of recommendation.
Prince has eleven teachers who have achieved the distinguished honor of GISA Master Teacher. Congratulations to these faculty members for their exemplary work and for all that they contribute to Prince Avenue Christian School.
