Prince Varsity Football – 2024 Region 8-AA Champions
After going 5-0 in Region 8-AA and with a season record of 7-3, the Prince Avenue Christian School Varsity Football Team won its fifth consecutive Region Championship. The Wolverines beat Hebron Christian Academy 34-31 in a highly anticipated contest to secure the region title.
Head Coach Greg Vandagriff explains this year’s line-up was the toughest non-region schedule in school history. “We played five teams that were ranked 4A, 5A, or 6A. Those games more than prepared us for region play and the playoffs. We look forward to the post-season. “Coach Vandagriff also praised Wolverine fans for their part in cheering the team to victory. “We cannot do any of this without the continued support of the Prince community.”
