Amid the excitement of a new school year, PACS welcomes new faculty and staff members. In administration, Seth Hathaway takes the lead as the new Head of School. Daniel Head has been named Middle School Principal and Ashley Young, Finance Director. The Lower School welcomes Michael Palmer – Physical Education, Becky Padgett – First Grade, Betsy Phillips – Spanish, Helen Zeagler – Pre-K, Nicole Henderson – Pre-K Paraprofessional, and Amanda Holcombe – Extended Care. The Middle School welcomes Leah Laturell – Art and Bob Wentworth – Science. The High School welcomes Allison Bentley – Marketing/Yearbook.
On the first day of school, the PTF invites all parents to attend the “Boo-Hoo Whoo-Hoo Breakfast” in the PACS Pavilion from 8:15 – 9:30. Come borrow a tissue if you are sad to see the end of summer, or shake a pom-pom to celebrate the beginning of school. Seth Hathaway, PACS Head of School, will be available to meet and greet parents during this event.
One additional change for this school year will be in the area of school-wide email and communication. The PACS Marketing Department is premiering The Wolverine Weekly. This informative newsletter will serve to reduce the number of promotional emails sent throughout each week. Check The Wolverine Weekly for information regarding that week’s school-wide events, Fine Arts productions, varsity sports competitions, and online registrations and ticket sales for events. You will also enjoy an inspirational message from our Chaplain, Mr. David Shivar in each week’s issue of The Wolverine Weekly.
The Wolverine General Store will be open for business during Thursday’s Wolverine Welcome and the first day of school. Parents and students will be able to purchase a new variety of spirit-day t-shirts, hats, and jackets as well as PE shorts and shirts.
This will be another exciting year as PACS partners with parents to honor God, pursue excellence, and disciple students.
