Prince NJHS Students Donate Food to ACTS Foodbank
For the second year in a row, the Prince National Junior Honors Society completed a Thanksgiving food collection service project. This year’s drive was to benefit the ACTS Foodbank in Bogart, Georgia. Students were asked to fill a box with a list of 24 specific non-perishable items. Over 60 percent of members participated donating 62 boxes with 740 items. The items were received by ACTS Foodbank Co-Chair Randy Dawson and will serve to meet the needs of area families during the holidays. NJHS teacher sponsor, Beth Schroder explains, “During a time in which it is difficult to reach out to those in need, Prince students and families have come together to show the love of Christ this Thanksgiving season.”
