Recognizing that each student’s college and professional aspirations differ, Prince Avenue offers three diploma classifications: College Prep with Distinction, College Prep, and General.
Requirements
- At least 28 credits are required
- At least 3 courses (3 credits) must be any combination of the following: Advanced Placement, Dual Enrollment, or a third or fourth year of foreign language
- The credits required for a College Preparatory diploma are as follows:
- 4 credits of English
- 4 credits of Science (three of which must be lab sciences)
- 4 credits of Math (CP level or higher)- Students must be enrolled in Math all four years of high school.
- 4 credits of Bible
- 4 credits of Social Studies (must include World History, US History, Govt. /Ecn.)
- 1 credit of Health/P.E.
- 2 credits of the same Foreign Language
- 5 elective credits (0.5 must be Speech, 1 must be additional Foreign Language or Fine Arts)
- 65 hours of volunteer service
- At least 27 credits are required

- At least 24 credits are required.
- The credits required for a general high school diploma are as follows:
- 4 credits of English
- 4 credits of Math (must include Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II)
- 4 credits of Science
- 3 credits of Social Studies (must be World History, US History, Government/Economics)
- 1 credit of Health/P.E.
- 4 credits of Bible
- 4 elective credits (0.5 must be Speech, 3 must be Foreign Language or Fine Arts)
- 65 hours of volunteer service
- Passing classes at PACS
- College dual enrollment
- Transferring from another accredited school
- PACS approved directed studies
- Approved online courses
- Home school credits accepted by the PACS administration
No “first impulse courses” may be taken for credit without prior permission from the administration (first impulse course = course taken at another institution which PACS offers on campus).

High school scheduling is an important process in a student’s high school career and college planning process. Prince has a three-step process outlined below:

- Course Requests Presentations
- Course Requests in FACTS
- Advisement Meetings
IMPORTANT DATES:
Monday, January 22nd:
- Student Course Requests presentation during the school day.
- Parent Course Requests presentation in the PABC Worship Center 6:00-8:00 pm
Tuesday, January 23rd:
FACTS opened for Course Requests
The month of February:
Schedule Academic Advisement Meeting with Mr. Owens (9th-10th) or Mrs. Ricketts (11th-12th)
*Important Note*
Students must enter their Course Request selections for SY 2024-2025 AND be reenrolled through the PACS Admissions Office BEFORE scheduling an appointment for academic advisement.
- Go to factsmgt.com
- Choose Parents Login (same process as checking grades or homework)
- Log in: District Code is PACS-GA
- Choose Student
- Choose Course Requests
- Click the tab with your student’s name
- Make your choices and click CONTINUE. You will see Updated Course Requests! (at the top of the page) which indicates that your choices have been recorded in FACTS.
- To schedule an “advisement meeting” with your Counselor, please sign up through the links that will be emailed to you.
- Advisement Dates: Feb. 1 – March 3
